LuraWM is a window manager forked from dwl

Why LuraWM?

LuraWM exists because modern Wayland compositors have became the very thing they were meant to replace, stuff that sucks. And dwl is closest to giving an authentic suckless experience on Wayland, but it is somewhat left unmaintained. This fork aims to provide more active maintenance and improvements. If dwl ever stops being maintained & dies, Lura will live on.

Get LuraWM!

git clone https://codeberg.org/Mandy/LuraWM
cd LuraWM
cp config.def.h config.h
# Edit config.h to your liking
sudo make install

Required dependencies:

libinput
wayland
wlroots0.19
xkbcommon
wayland-protocols
pkg-config

Additional dependencies if XWayland support is enabled:

libxcb
libxcb-wm
wlroots0.19
xwayland

To enable XWayland, you should uncomment its flags in config.mk
